Thank You to Karen Diamond and Dustmuffin!

What a Great Event!  I want to thank Karen Diamond for hosting the Dustmuffin fundraiser.  It was a fantastic successful event that raised over $700 for the UWC!  It was so fun to have a leisurely afternoon shopping and visiting, while sipping wine and eating delicious treats at Karen’s beautiful home.  The very affordable vintage and art-deco jewelry items were beautiful and so unique, and Diana Jacobs of the Dustmuffin was on hand to give the history of each piece.  I was at a loss as to what to get several of my girl friends for Christmas, but found some very charming vintage brass pins and a necklace with vintage beadwork and brass lockets.  They all have dogs who are their babies, so I included a photo of each dog inside the locket.  The pins may adorn their purses, belts, jean pockets, lapels, scarves, hats and are perfect for their no fuss taste.  I even bought some for myself (Merry Xmas, me!) and they adorn my purse- purse jewelry, great idea!
