The University Women’s Club Welcomes New Members!

The University Women’s Club of the University of Colorado Boulder was founded in 1919 to promote friendship among members and to provide service to the University and the Boulder community. Club membership is open to women who are affiliated with or are friends of the University.

UWC activities include an annual lecture series on a wide range of topics of interest to the membership, opportunities to participate in more than 25 Interest Groups, and opportunities to work with other women on the UWC Board. Scholarship is at the core of the Club’s values. Each year, the UWC offers scholarships to nontraditional students whose backgrounds make an education harder to achieve. UWC also honors exceptional women through its Margaret Willard Award (named for the first president of the Club).

Membership benefits include:

  • Interest Group Activities
  • Bi-monthly member conversations
  • MESSAGES newsletter
  • UWC Membership Directory
  • Lecture Luncheons
  • Opera Brunch
  • Annual Spring Scholarship Luncheon
  • Honors Reception
